Data Accuracy

Because Forex Travel provides its booking services online or via telephone where a higher chance of error may occur, we rely 100% on our client's confirmation regarding the accuracy of the data within your booking. We advise for you to check spelling of names, titles, addresses, date of births, contact details , flight details of every sector (including times, locations and airlines), tour information, accommodation as well as and not limited to any land arrangements. A confirmation will be requested from you either by email or over the phone before a booking can be finalised. Once confirmed, ticket or product/s will be issued and booking becomes final. Any error or inaccuracy of any information regarding the bookings will not be the responsibility of Forex Travel. Any costs incurred in changing or cancelling of any booking after confirmation is received will be the responsibility of the client. This condition is non-negotiable.

Booking Via our Call Centre

We are not responsible for any changes made by a supplier to the balance due date and prices are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full and documents have been processed. It is your responsibility to provide all accurate and true information about your travel details and personal information Forex Travel is not liable for any penalties, fees or delays caused by inaccurate information you have provided.

Your Credit Card Details

We reserve the right to pass on your credit card details, and any other essential booking details, to a third party supplier who may charge your card directly for all or part of your booking payment. For details of how we collect and use your personal information, please view our Privacy Policy.

In some instances, you may be required to provide verification documentation to substantiate identity. This is to assist us in validating the integrity of the credit card information. This process is in place to reduce the potential risk of fraud. If we are unable to contact the card holder to make such verification, we do not accept responsibility for any rebooking costs for missed ticketing deadlines. Under such circumstances, any bookings arrangements will be cancelled.

If, for any reason, any travel service provider (including airlines) do not provide the products or service which you have contracted to acquire, the liability is against the provider only and not against us. If payment for such a product or service was made to Forex Travel by credit card, by accepting these booking conditions, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your credit card payment to Forex Travel.

Changes to Your Flight Times

It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to departure to ensure there is no change to the scheduled departure time.

Passports, Visas and Health Requirements

Visas, including transit visas, are the passenger's own responsibility. For more information please log on to: www.dfat.gov.au or www.smarttraveller.gov.au. Please check with the respective Embassy or Consulate of each country that you are travelling to, as many destinations require visas for both Australians and non Australian passport holders. For more information, log on to www.visalink.com.au. You need to ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport from the date of your departure.

International travellers booked on flights to the United States, including Hawaii, it is now mandatory, under the Visa Waiver Program to receive an electronic authorisation known as ETSA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) no less than 72 hours before travel to the USA. This can be obtained from the following site: www.cbp.gov/etsa.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations. Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. You need to contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of travelling.

Frequent Flyer Customers

We do not offer advice on Frequent Flyer eligibility on flights that we advertise on our site or that you have booked. For more information on whether your airfare is eligible for Frequent Flyer rewards, you must contact the airline directly. When booking online, you must ensure that you have entered your correct number in the special section feature in the booking engine. For Call Centre bookings, you must give your consultant your Frequent Flyer details and these will be put into your reservation. Forex Travel does not accept responsibility if your airline does not register your trip. You must retain your air ticket and boarding pass

Responsibility and Liability:

FOREX TRAVEL PTY LTD. (hereafter know as “Operator”) as the principal; Operator is responsible for arranging and providing all of the services offered in connection with these trips. The Operator does not own or operate, nor is it an agent for any of the airlines which will provide goods or services for the trip or for any option which may be available in connection with the trip (including free accommodation etc ) and the Operator has not priced the trip or option to allow Operator to guarantee against failure of any such firms. Accordingly, participant(s) agree to seek remedies directly with the supplier, and not to hold the Operator or sponsoring organization liable, in the absence of its negligence, for any loss, injury, delay or expense which results directly or indirectly from any action or omission, whether negligent, criminal or otherwise, of any entity providing goods and services for the trip or any available option ( e.g. without limitation, the quality of services, cleanliness of a hotel, or any flight delays). Participant(s) also agree not to hold Operator or sponsoring organization liable beyond its control (e.g. act of God). At any time, Operator may decline for any reason any person as participant on a trip (or Option) whereupon the Operator’s only obligation shall be to refund such person that portion of payment allocable to the unused services. Operator or any airline supplier referred to on this website reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service for any reason.

Ticketing

For international and domestic departure, e-tickets will be issued upon payment and completion of the booking process. All other travel documentation, such Stunning Getaway Packages vouchers , hotel, car hire, transfer and tour vouchers will be e-mailed to you as an e-document. Should the travel provider issue paper vouchers, these will be posted to you no later than 14 days prior to departure.

Booking with a Low Cost Carrier ("LCC")

In 2006 Low Cost Carriers offered a total of 550 million seats on nearly 4 million flights which represented 17% of the total number of seats on offer worldwide. As you can see these figures represent a significant share of the Air Travel Market, and their market share is set to increase hugely in the coming years as a result of the fantastic prices on offer.

If you have booked with any of these airlines and you wish to amend or cancel your booking, you MUST contact the airline directly on the featured phone numbers. These airlines usually keep their costs low by not including extra services like meals, entertainment, check-in baggage etc; however in many cases these can be purchased prior to departure, at the airport or on-board your flight.

Forex Travel recommends that you contact your Low Cost Carrier directly at least 72 hours prior to departure of each flight to reconfirm. Low Cost Carriers reserve the right to charge Credit Card merchant fees additionally to the airfare and taxes displayed. Credit Card merchant fees applied by the airline directly will be charged additionally to your credit card upon confirmation of your booking.

Bookings made on Low Cost Carriers in some instances do not include a check-in baggage allowance. Check-in baggage allowances included in the fare purchased will be listed on your booking confirmation from the airline. Please contact the airline directly if you require to increase your check-in baggage limit. Baggage fees may be charged by the airline or at the airport for any additional requirements and are non-refundable once purchased.

Please note that most airlines treat name changes and route and/or itinerary alterations as FULL CANCELLATION and can incur full cancellation charges. All worldwide airlines charge amendment and cancellation fees. Best Flights will not take any responsibility for any clients who do not take out fully comprehensive insurance cover when booking to cover any eventualities.

Payments processed in foreign currency (currency other than the original card holders country of issue), may incur a currency conversion fee. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees.

Prices featured on the our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) based on the current daily rate of exchange, final payments and statements may differ from the amount shown due to currency conversion fluctuations.

Fees and Charges

Our Fees and Charges

We may charge a fee for making a booking on your behalf. You acknowledge that we may receive a commission from suppliers for bookings made on your behalf. We reserve the right to charge administrative fees for payments made by credit card. These changes range from 1% dependent on what credit card issuer is utilised.

Booking Amendment Charges, Cancellation/Amendment Fees

Once full payment has been made, we reserve the right to charge cancellation or amendment fees to cover our administration costs. This fee is in addition to any charged levied by the supplier. Please note that the conditions for some services, particularly airfares, may not permit refunds. If we are obliged to cancel your travel arrangements or booking for any reason, our liability will be limited to a refund of all monies paid by you less any cancellation fees charged by us and the supplier and subject to the supplier's terms and conditions. Please ensure that, when requesting a refund, you enclose copies of all relevant documentation.

Currency

All pricing on this site is reflected in Australian Dollars unless otherwise specifically denoted on the screen

Our Liability to You is Limited

Certain statutory warranties under consumer protection laws will be implied for the benefit of consumers. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or restrict the application of such laws but Forex Travel Pty Ltd. does not give any guarantees or warranties or make any representation of any kind, express or implied, with respect to use of this website or the Service outside these laws.

Subject to claims available under consumer protection laws, Forex Travel is not liable to you or anyone else (including for negligence, breach of contract or tort) for any loss or damage (including specific, indirect, consequential or economic loss) however caused and which is suffered directly or indirectly in connection with the:

  • use of (or inability to use) this Website, the Service or any linked site;
  • disruption to this Website or the Service;
  • the delivery or non-delivery of products or services acquired by using the Service; and
  • any act or omission of suppliers or third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forex Travel excludes all liability for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment. Our liability for a breach of a condition or warranty implied by law or otherwise, and which cannot be excluded, is limited to the extent possible, at our option to the supply of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the service supplied again.

Jurisdiction and Law

Use of this site, all maters arising out of or in connection with it and all terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of New South Wales. By accessing this site, you consent and submit to the non–exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales in all matters arising out of or in connection with your use of this site and terms.
